No one knows my storms—

my struggles,

my pain,

my sorrows.

I have walked my own path,

carried my burdens,

cried silent tears in the dark,

disappeared… in plain sight.

Yet still—

my light does not darken.

When others let me down,

when my heart breaks,

when I find myself standing alone…

As the weight of the world bears down,

as struggles overwhelm,

as I am lost and broken—

My light does not darken.

I close my eyes.

Feel the sun on my face.

Arms outstretched in surrender.

Surrender to all that is not mine.

Surrender it all.

Let go of what was never meant for me.

And in that surrender…

my light expands across the universe,

illuminating a new path,

a new destination,

a new dawn.
